Local Roots, Statewide Impact—Find Your Chapter

Let your voice be heard where it matters most—right in your own region. CAPCA Chapters are the heart of our community, bringing PCAs together for education, networking, and local advocacy. With 15 active Chapters across California, each one offers continuing education (CE) tailored to the crops and concerns of your area, delivered by local experts who understand your region’s unique needs. Chapters are also powerful professional networks—connecting PCAs, independents, growers, sales reps, County Ag Commissioners, and researchers. Beyond CE, they play a vital role in mentoring the next generation of PCAs and funding scholarships for local students. Whether you’re looking to stay current, expand your network, or make a difference in your community, your Chapter is where it all begins.

From the Field to the Capitol—Advocate Statewide

Ready to take your advocacy to the next level? CAPCA empowers members to engage directly with California’s lawmakers through training and support from our lobbying team. Whether you’re meeting with State Senators or Assemblymembers, we’ll help you speak up for science-based regulation, feasible policies, and the protection of your professional license. Together, we work to preserve access to critical tools in the IPM toolbox—and ensure PCAs have a voice where it matters most: the state Capitol.

Continuing Education Events That Keep You Ahead

CAPCA’s Annual Conference is the premier event in pest management—drawing thousands of PCAs and industry leaders together. It’s where the latest technologies are unveiled, critical issues are discussed, and the networking is second to none. What sets it apart? Gold Standard Continuing Education (CE) that’s trusted by professionals statewide—and recognized as the best in the business. Members also gain exclusive access to CAPCA’s online CE library at CAPCA.com, offering the same high-quality education anytime, anywhere. Whether in person or online, CAPCA delivers the CE that keeps you sharp, current, and licensed.

Membership FAQ

I believe some courses are missing from my hours summary. What should I do?

If you notice any courses missing from your record, you can use the “Self-Report CE” button on your CAPCA dashboard to add them. Simply upload a Verification of Attendance, fill in the course details, and the system will take care of the rest.

Why are some of my CE hours not appearing?

CAPCA launched the CE Hours Reported platform in 2024 to streamline the process of hosting, attending, and reporting CE hours for both Sponsors and Attendees. While over 300 Sponsors have joined the system, a few have not yet onboarded or have opted not to participate. As a result, some hours may not be automatically displayed.
To address this, we’ve provided the Self-Report CE option for members. We appreciate your patience and encourage you to reach out to Sponsors to support full onboarding.

I need to renew my CAPCA membership but can't find the option.

The Renewal button is located next to the “Online Learning” button on your CAPCA dashboard. Once logged in, look to the right side of your screen—next to your name and member information. The button will display either “Become a member” or “Renew Your Membership”, depending on your status.

How can I download a summary of my CE hours?

On your dashboard, navigate to the “CE Tracking and CAPCA Membership” section and click the “Download My DPR Renewal Summary” button. You can also choose to have the summary emailed directly to you.

Where can I find in-person CE events in my area?

On your dashboard, hover over the “Events” tab (or tap it on mobile devices), and select “Chapter Meetings” from the drop-down menu. This will direct you to a list of upcoming in-person CE opportunities available in your region.
