CAPCA is a professional organization of licensed Pest Control Advisers working in agriculture and horticulture.
In 2024 the CAPCA Ventura Chapter will give the following scholarships.

4-Year University Scholarship for 2024
This is a $1500.00 scholarship for a Ventura or Santa Barbara County resident enrolled in a 4-year California College or University, preferably majoring in Plant Science or Agriculture.

Deadline: Applications must be submitted by July 31, 2024.
ELIGIBILITY:
1. Must be attending the college or university in the fall of 2024.
2. Must have been a permanent resident of Ventura or Santa Barbara County before attending college.
3. Must present two letters of recommendation; one must be from a faculty member.

Community College Scholarship for 2024
This is a $500.00 scholarship for a Ventura or Santa Barbara County resident attending a Community College studying the field of agriculture or horticulture.

Deadline: Applications are due July 31, 2024.
ELIGIBILITY:
1. Must live in Ventura or Santa Barbara County.
2. A recommendation from at least one faculty member.
3. Student will be transferring to a 4-year university by 2024 or 2025.
