Private Event Hosting

NEW for 2021 - CAPCA will facilitate private rooms for confirmed 2021 Sponsors and Exhibitors to host private events during designated times at the CAPCA Annual Conference in Reno, NV.

Please carefully read the information below, including the Rules and Requirements, and submit your application. Space will be allocated based on Sustaining Membership level and date of application.

Priority booking will be for 2020 Exhibitors and Sponsors.


Available Dates/Times

Private Events May Be hosted:

Monday, October 18, 2021 from 2 pm to 5 pm

Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 10 am to 2 pm



Monday events will be held in sections of the Crystal Ballroom, Carson Rooms, Nevada Center, and Grand Ballroom
Tuesday events will be held in sections of the Crystal Ballroom, Carson Rooms, and Nevada Center

Space will be negotiated and assigned based on planned use.  Space and attendee logistics subject to guidelines as approved by the State of Nevada and restrictions observed by the venue. CAPCA reserves the right to refuse space to any company.

Rules and Requirements

Private event hosts are responsible for the management of any professional education acquired during their time.  This includes but is not limited to submitting for and receiving course approval from CDPR, monitoring attendee time in course and providing sign in sheets and scantrons to comply with CDPR course sponsor requirements and CECPM for CAPCA members hour tracking.

Programming may not start until Member lunch is over on Monday, October 18th and must be completed by 5:00 pm to not conflict with Monday Night Football Reception.

Private event hosts have the option to continue their rental on Tuesday, October 19th after the networking Breakfast/closing session.

Private event hosts may order AV or Food and Beverage directly from the Hotel. Once private event booking is confirmed and paid, CAPCA will release the meeting time and room to hotel for additional planning.

Private event host will be provided updated standard procedures for event flow/exits/entrances, etc. closer to the event in order to comply with overall Event plan as approved by the State of Nevada Health authority.
