An accredited Label Update Meeting will be held during the 2021 CAPCA Virtual Conference. Presentation recordings will be available on-demand for attendees during the course of the event September 1 - October 31, 2021. Cost $500.00 for a 10-minute time slot.
Eligible companies will be invited to participate based on review and acceptance of submitted application.
All applications for 2021 CAPCA Virtual Conference Label Update presentation slots are due by May 3rd. Selected companies can expect to be notified by May 13th regarding participation.
Eligibility to participate will be defined as follows:
1. Presentation must be able to meet CDPR accreditation standards.
2. Product or Use must be new within the previous 36-months. New is defined as approved (not pending) new uses/new crops never before registered in CA.
3. Presentations are to be technical only. The following are specifically forbidden:
a. “Features and Benefits”
b. Comparison with other products in such a way that those products are identifiable, unless:
i. Those products are proprietary products of the presenting company
ii. Those products are no longer available in the marketplace
c. Economic analysis
d. Section 18 registrations
4. Presentation eligible for California Department of Pesticide Accreditation. If concerned check http://www.cdpr.ca.gov/docs/license/cont_ed/ce_category_example_topics.pdf for a list of approved topics.
Selected companies must be prepared to submit their presentations plus three course quiz questions to CAPCA by July 2, 2021 to allow for presentation review and scheduling for recording in August 2021. All videos included/embedded as part of the presentation must be provided in advance with PowerPoint submission. No commercials are allowed. Due to pre-production costs and development timeline, changes to presentation after sign off submission or requests to re-record presentation information may result in additional expense to presenting company.
