This Month at CAPCA: November 2018
November brings about the beginning of change for CAPCA. This month, CAPCA’s board of directors met for their 4th Quarter meeting to discuss what 2019 will bring. There will be a continued effort in providing valuable Active Ingredient Defense information as well as greater chapter involvement with their local legislators.
CAPCA’s partnership with industry leaders has led to the launch of the BeeWhere website. Launched in October, it is an excellent resource for hive registration information and why it is so important to register them. Registering keeps all parties in clear communication and emphasizes hive safety. The site is www.beewherecalifornia.com, or you can Click HERE to go right to the site
Spring Summit 2019
The 2019 Spring Summit Committee has been hard at work on next year’s program. The Summit will take place April 16-17, 2019 at the Pechanga Resort in Temecula, California. The committee has already confirmed the Ag tour which will visit Avocado and Olive groves, as well as a Greenhouse. We still have exhibit booths and event sponsorships available for purchase. If you are interested in exhibitor sponsorship opportunities, fill out this FORM and email it to Dee Strowbridge at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible. Registration is also open, but please note we will not have accreditation until early next year. To visit the event page, click HERE.
For the end of the year and the beginning of 2019, CAPCA has been updating many of the forms and documents on our website. This is in an effort to ensure that the most up to date information is available for our membership. Some of these updated forms are membership documents, advertising kits, and publications. We have also updated several of the articles on our crop team pages, as well as our field reports.
