CAPCA Member of The Year

This award is limited to a CAPCA member that is a licensed Pest Control Adviser and recognizes his/her contribution back to the PCA profession via CAPCA activities the PCA performs above and beyond the norm, or to advance the understanding, recognition and/or professionalism of the PCAs.

Does the individual participate in CAPCA committees and activities, allied organizations, local community projects (i.e., Scouting, Kiwanis, etc?)

This PCA strives for integrity, continual personal improvement, "gives back" to the industry, is looked upon as a leader, is respected by many, and cares about making a difference within the PCA profession, as well as agriculture and horticulture in general.


Outstanding Contribution To California Agriculture

1. Individuals, companies, or organizations can qualify for this award.
2. They may come form any industry (i.e., legislators, media, medical, agriculture, entertainment, etc.).
3. In a given year the recipient could have:
   • led a successful small- or large-scale public relations program, or
   • an educational program, or
   • could have accomplished something particularly proactive, or
   • developed an agricultural/horticultural tool which will change industry forever
   Or
   
4. On the other hand, perhaps the recipient could be one who CONSISTENTLY participates and volunteers over a span of years for a variety of projects, issues, etc. for the good of agriculture/horiculture.
